As we all know, radio revolution has begun in India, with the coming in of a plethora of FM channels, including the satellite radio broadcasting, and the governmental nod for community radio. The need of the hour is to take forward the momentum seriously to address the issues that remain hitherto unresolved. The objective is to develop a knowledge sharing platform that will allow an interface between the industry players, governmental agencies and the audiences.
With a wide range of radio professionals including station operators, radio jockeys, advertisers, broadcasting professionals, there is no time to spare in bringing out an effective mechanism, for paving a path for radio movement to usher in the country for the benefit of a pluralistic yet democratic society at a large.
It is with this vision that CSDMS, under the banner of Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd, initiated research and documentation in the form of Radio Duniya.

Radio Duniya presents discussions on the policies affecting the radio scenario, share information on the commercial aspects of the radio movement as well as capture the potential of radio for bringing about social equity, promote grassroots-based sustainable development and innovation in the developing radio world, and to address and generate awareness on social issues and all the recent developments relating to the community radio movement.
We present a comprehensive analysis of radio as a mass communication medium to all the major stakeholders including radio broadcasters, equipment/ software suppliers, advertising agencies, policy makers and audiences, in order to create and strengthen a mutually beneficial relationship between the radio industry and the other stake holders.
Increasingly radio has become a career option for youth. With this view, we also cover the numerous academia and institutes that provide training to budding radio professionals, for this industry.
